Elecon Engg wins new order

Ahmedabad: Elecon Engineering Company, leading material handling equipments, industrial gears and transmission products manufacturer, has bagged an order worth Rs 18.5 crore from the Chennai-based Techpro Systems, the company said.

Earlier this month, Elecon had bagged two orders worth Rs 120 crore and Rs 22 crore from Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd and Adani Power Ltd of Adani Group, respectively.

The Chennai company’s order is for supply of stacker reclai mer and other equipment for coal handling system of the 1,050-MW coal-fired thermal power project at Maithon Power Ltd.
