Carysil Plans ₹500 Crore Investment to Expand Production Capacity.
Premium kitchen solutions provider Carysil has announced plans to invest ₹500 crore to expand its manufacturing capacity for kitchen sinks, faucets, and appliances as part of its long-term growth strategy in India.
As part of this initiative, the company has allocated ₹100 crore to double its sink manufacturing capacity from 1 million to 2 million units per year. An additional ₹50 crore will be invested to expand stainless steel sink production to 2.5 lakh units annually.
To enhance kitchen faucet production to 50,000 units per year, Carysil will invest ₹30 crore, while ₹20 crore has been earmarked for manufacturing 50,000 built-in kitchen appliances per annum, the company stated.
"Our vision is to establish Bhavnagar as the largest global hub for kitchen sink manufacturing. 'Make in India' is at the core of our growth strategy, and we are committed to raising the bar in quality and innovation in kitchen solutions," said Carysil Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Chirag Parekh.
Over the past five years, Carysil has invested ₹300 crore in India and globally to enhance its capacity and product range. The company, which has an annual revenue of ₹800 crore, generates approximately ₹150 crore from its Indian operations. Its products are exported to 58 countries, including the US, the UK, and Europe.
