Alkraft Thermo to open Uttarakhand plant

Chennai: Heat exchangers and engine cooling systems firm, Alkraft Thermotechnologies , will open a plant in Uttarakhand by March this year.

The upcoming plant will produce radiators and charge air cooler modules and will cater to Ashok Leyland's requirements. Alkraft customers in the commercial vehicles segment are Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Force Motors.

It has been working with commercial vehicle makers for improving the design of the heat exchangers (like a radiator in a vehicle) and charge air coolers to improve fuel efficiency.
