UltraTech Expands Production: 1.8 MTPA Grinding Mill Opens in Maihar.

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of its second cement grinding mill, adding 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to its capacity at its Maihar unit in Madhya Pradesh. This new mill is a key part of the company's ongoing expansion strategy.

The first grinding mill at the Maihar unit was successfully commissioned just a few months prior, in March 2025. This latest addition significantly enhances UltraTech's production capabilities, aiming to meet the escalating demand for cement across the country.

With this commissioning, UltraTech Cement's consolidated domestic grey cement capacity now stands at an impressive 186.86 mtpa. Including its overseas capacity of 5.4 mtpa, the company's total global cement capacity has reached 192.26 mtpa.
