TVS Motor Launches New 2.2 kWh iQube Variant, Expands Electric Scooter Line in Nepal.
TVS Motor Company has launched a new 2.2 kWh battery variant of its iQube electric scooter in Nepal, bringing the model’s total variants to three, available in six color options. This new variant is designed to reduce ownership costs and enhance the accessibility of electric vehicles, offering improved features for customers.
Key specifications of the 2.2 kWh variant include a 950W charger with rapid charging capabilities, allowing the scooter to reach 80% charge in just 2 hours. It offers a top speed of 75 kmph and features a 5-inch color TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation and distance-to-empty tracking.
Madhu Prakash Singh, Vice President of EV and International Business at TVS Motor Company, highlighted that the iQube has gained global popularity, with over 400,000 customers worldwide. In Nepal, iQube users have collectively covered more than 1.5 million kilometers in just one year.
The new variant is now available for booking on the TVS Nepal website and at 40 dealerships across Kathmandu. Shahil Agrawal, Managing Director of Jagdamba Motors, expressed optimism that the new model will further boost electric vehicle adoption in Nepal.
This launch is part of TVS Motor’s ongoing commitment to sustainable mobility and expanding its electric vehicle presence in international markets.
