Rural electricity scheme for Polwatta village

Colombo: At the request of Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, the Ministry of Power and Energy will launch a rural electricity scheme for Polwatta village in Pallepola P.S. division in Dambulla electorate.

After the power scheme is completed over 200 families in the area will be benefitted. The preliminary work has been initiated by the Ceylon Electricity Board. An allocation of Rs. 3.2 million under aid is provided.
