Refex Green Power Wins Tender for 250 TPD Bio-CNG Plant in Coimbatore.

Refex Green Power Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited, has won a tender from the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation to establish a 250 TPD Municipal Solid Waste-based Bio-CNG plant in Coimbatore.

The project will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) basis for a concession period of 20 years, as per the Letter of Acceptance issued on April 5, 2025.

The project, estimated to cost ₹78.54 crore, is expected to be fully commissioned within 19 months from the date of signing the Concession Agreement, which is scheduled to be completed within 30 days from the LOA.
