Lehar Footwears Ltd has won a significant new order worth ₹74.90 crore to supply 50,000 toolkits to artisans and craftspeople under the Government of India's PM Vishwakarma Scheme. This marks an additional order for the company, which began its involvement with the program in August 2024.
The company stated that the repeat order, secured within a year of its initial contract, solidifies its position as a key implementation partner for the national initiative.
"We are glad to contribute to the Government of India's PM Vishwakarma Scheme, which empowers traditional artisans and craftspeople," said Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Whole-Time Director of Lehar Footwears. "This additional order reflects the trust placed in Lehar's execution capabilities and strengthens our commitment to supporting skill development and self-reliance at the grassroots level."
The company highlighted that the contract underscores its belief in the sustainability and scalability of this business segment.
