Kinfra set to open industrial park in Pathanamthitta

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) is set to open an industrial park in the State’s Pathanamthitta district.

The Kinfra Industrial Park at Kunnathanam in Pathanamthitta is intended for small and medium enterprises, said an official associated with the project.

The park has been set up on approximately 35 acres. As with other industrial parks promoted by Kinfra, the park in Kunnathanam offers developed plots and basic infrastructure. Kinfra, which has developed the plots and set up the basic infrastructure, will offer the plots on a 90-year lease.

The Industries Minister, Mr Elamaram Kareem, is scheduled to inaugurate the Kinfra Industrial Park at Kunnathanam on Friday, a press release said.
