ICAI Signs MoU with 11 Universities to Foster Collaborative Initiatives

In a significant move towards academic collaboration, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has formalized Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with 11 universities and colleges. The agreements aim to provide support to the educational institutions in various areas, including the development of syllabi, content creation, online and recorded lectures, and faculty development programs.

The exchange of MoUs took place on Monday during the National Education Summit on Commerce and Accountancy, organized by ICAI in the capital. ICAI President Aniket Sunil Talati presided over the event, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between the professional institute and academic entities.

The 11 universities and colleges that have entered into this collaboration with ICAI include the Central University of Haryana, Jamia Hamdard in New Delhi, Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat, Darshan University in Rajkot, Gujarat, Shivaji University in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Jain (deemed to be university) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, SRM Group in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Vellore Institute of Technology in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Bharat Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Mizoram University in Aizawal, Mizoram.

This strategic collaboration reflects a commitment to enhancing the quality of commerce and accountancy education through joint efforts in curriculum development and educational resources. The MoUs aim to create a conducive environment for academic growth and knowledge exchange between ICAI and the partnering institutions.
