GreenCell Mobility to invest ₹1,500 crore to double EV buses supply in India.

EverSource Capital promoted GreenCell Mobility is looking to invest ₹1,500 crore in the next one year to more-than-double the number of electric buses it deploys on Indian roads.

GreenCell Mobility - an electric mobility as a service platform - will put on road an additional 1,200 e-buses both for intra and inter-city travel and set up the supporting charging infrastructure required to expand operations in the country. GreenCell sources the electric buses through a contract manufacturing basis from vendors.
