Goregaon-Mulund Link Road: BMC moves closer to project.

In a significant step towards improving east-west connectivity, the BMC has floated a request for proposals for a technical feasibility study on the proposed Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) that will serve as a link between the Western and Eastern Express Highways.

The roughly 10-km stretch will begin at Goregaon in the western suburbs and run up to Mulund in the eastern suburbs. Officials from the civic roads department said the road would cross portions of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
