Court freezes Adani SEZ units, says green nod needed.

In a major setback to the Gautam Adani-controlled Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ), the Gujarat high court ordered a shutdown of the 12 industrial units at the industrial enclave run by the company in Mundra.

A bench comprising chief justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya and justice J.B. Pardiwala ordered the closure of all functional units and barred any further construction at the Mundra SEZ, one of the largest multi-product special economic zones in the country.
