Process intelligence firm Celonis plans to expand its India operations to nearly a third of its global headcount by the end of fiscal year 2027, highlighting the country’s growing importance in the company’s global strategy.

Headquartered in Munich, Germany, Celonis currently employs around 300 people in India, a number that is expected to rise to approximately 1,500 by FY27, Carsten Thoma, President of Celonis, told reporters at the company’s annual Celosphere 2025 event.

Reflecting on the company’s commitment to India, Thoma noted that 18 months ago he introduced an internal hashtag, #Indiaisourfuture, signaling his confidence in the market’s potential.
