Hotel Group Carlson Rezidor has announced plans for a new property in Cairo. The Radisson Blu Hotel in Cairo Nasr City in Egypt will feature 300 rooms and is scheduled to open in Q1 2016.
The new property will be built adjacent to Genena Mall and features an all-day-dining restaurant, a lounge bar, a fitness center, a spa, a roof top swimming pool with sky bar and a meetings & events area including a ballroom.
The property will be the hospitality company's second in Cairo. It is owned by local company Genena Group, whose assets include the 300-stores Genena Mall and Genena City Sharm El Sheikh.

The group now operates and develops seven hotels across Egypt with more than 2,800 rooms, and aims to further extend its network.
