Aster buys stake in Prime Hospitals.

Aster DM Healthcare Pvt Ltd. will pay $12 million for a majority stake in Sri Sainatha Multi-Speciality Hospital Pvt Ltd. (Prime Hospitals). Prime Hospitals plans to consolidate its presence in Hyderabad and expand across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Prime Hospitals, a multi-speciality tertiary care hospital, now operates from two facilities in Hyderabad and plans to have 10 facilities with 100-150 beds each in these three States in the next three-four years.
