Wipro and Punjab & Sind Bank ink IT deal

Bangalore: Wipro and Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) have signed a 10-year contract for comprehensive IT outsourcing services for the bank.

The deal will enable centralised banking operations for PSB branches across the country. Wipro will undertake system integration, provisioning and management of Finacle core banking solution and enterprise applications. It covers 24x7 management of the IT infrastructure covering computing platforms and networking.

The contract also covers commissioning and management of the data centre, disaster recovery centre with service and support for the bank.
