Narayana Hrudayalaya plans abroad centres
Hyderabad: Bangalore-based hospital group, Narayana Hrudayalaya, has planned to expand abroad and has entered into agreements in Malaysia and Indonesia to open hospitals there. It plans to open a multi-speciality hospital at Cayman Island, near Miami in the US.
Presently, the group has a bed strength of 5,000 and is looking at expanding to 30,000 beds in the next five-ten years.
The expansion plan includes adding 500 beds every year in Hyderabad and setting up 1,400-bed super specialty heart hospital at Jaipur.
It will also establish hospitals in Bhubaneswar, Siliguri and Mysore. The Hyderabad Unit will have 5,000 beds in a span of 10 years.
